An Optimal Charging Solution for Commercial Electric Vehicles

New government regulations and incentives promote the deployment of commercial electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions from gasoline-fueled vehicles. For (CEVs) operating in a fleet, charging processes are often performed at depot where they begin end their daily driving cycles, as well public stations on routes. With large penetration CEVs depots, simultaneous increases peak demand, which turn impacts network demand cost facility. These conditions influence schedules along routes total service logistic companies. This paper investigates optimal problems for that supported by on-route stations. The routing modelled an optimization problem relevant solutions provided. variants considered model charging, time use tariffs during day, partial recharging, waiting times characteristics results indicate effectiveness developed algorithm achieving maximize benefits logistics companies provided all constraints satisfied.
